Here you can find different versions from the famous song "We wish you a Merry Christmas". Choose the one you like the best!

The song "We wish you a Merry Christmas" is a very popular one, and since we are on the internet, it will be rather easy for you to find the lyrics.
After you listen to the song, you must do the following activities:

0.- Create a word document and save it as: name_last name_English1
For example: Maria Garcia would save the document as Maria_Garcia_English1
1.- We know the song wishes us a merry christmas. But it goes on: Find the entire lyrics of the song. Copy them on your document. Compare them with the lyrics from the song you listened to and underline the sentences which are different.
2.- Try to guess the meaning of the lyrics. If it happens to be too hard, you can use the dictionaries in the links (on your right).
3.- Find the meaning for "Carol".
4.- Find English or American Christmas traditions. You must include the ones talking about:
a- A TREE
b- SANTA CLAUS
c- MISTLETOE
d- PUDDING
5.- Try to create your own christmas song with the same music as in "We wish you a Merry Christmas.
Try be using the same first line: WE WISH YOU
and then create a different wish (for example) TO HAVE A BIG TREE.
